I guess you can say I'm quite over the break-up already
I don't have to think about him anymore and thinking of him doesn't make me that sad.
Even though he still can ruin a good mood of mine lol.
But here's the real news.
At school, there was something called the 'Culture Days'.
You could choose things to do for the cultural days, like,
workshops, helping with the setup etc.
I chose School Band.
I'm so happy I did.
I already had a 'band' with friends of mine,
even though we only had a guitarist (me), pianist and a singer.
And we weren't really active.
My friend wasn't participating in School Band so I
made her be in the school band lol. (So happy I did.)
At school the organizing sucks so that was just possible.
We just practiced for a song, and we ofcourse also jammed with
some other kids who chose school band.
I really forgot how amazing it was to play the guitar (with lots of distortion!)
and especially how fun punk rock songs are to play in a band.
Playing guitar with a drummer and a singer makes it like a 100 times better.
I just love it and after the Culture Days I was so enthousiastic.
I HAD to play in a band.
So our already existing 'band' decided to look for a drummer.
AND HERE HE IS!! HURRAH!
We just found one today! It's a drummer we met at the culture days and he's
willing to join our band! I'm SO happy, I just really hope this is going to work out.
That would be so awesome.
Oh, and here's more awesome stuff about the culture days.
From School Band, there were several groups formed to perform,
but the only rock group (and in my opinion the most awesome one)
formed had like the best musicians from School Band.
I was so impressed, the performance was just perfect and really amazing.
They also had this amazing guitarist, he had customized his
guitar himself, and it just looked like an exact copy of van Halen's
Kramer guitar. He nailed van Halen's solo from Beat it and improvised
and stuff. Now I want to improve my tapping skills really bad xD
Also, I looked up lots more informatiom about guitars, because i practically knew
nothing about it. I knew my guitar was an Ibanez but that's it.
So here's it, my guitar is an Ibanez RG350EX. Nice eh?
While looking up stuff about guitars and reading there was one model that caught my attention.
OMG I love the Gibson Les Paul guitars!! (But they're so expensive).
So now I'm seriously considering to buy a new guitar a la Les Paul lol.
One that caught my attention was the Agile AL-3000 (Wine Red Flame omg<3) But they
only make those in the US and if there is damage done while shipping the product you won't get your money back.
Even if the guitar got lost and you don't get one at all. (I live in Europe).
So searching for another guitar that style.
I like the Epiphone Dot, though I'm not sure if Dot or Casino model is better. Also, I
still like the les paul model more.
Someone told me about the Indie Standard or something
[link]
And I only know it looks great
I'm still quite bummed about the Agile guitars though, people said they were slightly better than epiphones,
and I could see, also less expensive. Also, they had it in awesome colours. Even one with the Union Jack
flag on its body, I really liked that one.
I'll write more soon.
If you read it till here, congratz lol.
Thanks for reading
